Mangrove Campaign for The Fishers in Pemalang

Pemalang, Central Java. On Augustus, 21 2008, KeSEMaT and Department of Marine and Fisheries of  Central Java (DKP PEMPROV JATENG) was doing mangrove campaign to the fishers in Pesantren Village - Pemalang. It was mangrove program to increase the capacity of fishers implementing mangrove silvovisery for their pond. It started at 6 AM - 6 PM.

KeSEMaT who represented by Agus Susanto (Alumnus), Dhira Khurniawan (DP) and Haviz Rahman Nursalim (Member) had campaigned mangrove ecosystem called Let's Study Mangrove. Furthermore, DKP PEMPROV JATENG represented by Ibu Dewi had discussed mangrove policy with the fishers.

For KeSEMaT, it was the second time visiting Pesantren. In 2006, there were NGO training organized by Wetlands International Indonesia Programme. KeSEMaT and 12 NGO of Indonesia was doing training in this village. [<]
